CSS Frameworks Overview
A CSS framework, also known as a web design framework, is a pre-prepared library meant to allow easier, more standards-compliant CSS styling of websites using the Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) standard. As with scripting language and programming libraries, CSS frameworks (usually packaged as external CSS style sheets inserted into the header section of a web page) package a number of already-coded options for designing and outlaying web pages. CSS Frameworks could be viewed as rapid website development (RWD) tools. We are not going to list ALL of the CSS frameworks; there are new CSS frameworks being developed on a continuous basis; rather, we will list the most popular and well-established CSS frameworks here.
